have been sick for like 1 week
till now haven fully recover!
after SGB, the next day i was caught
with a high fever and sore throat.
and then fever gone down on sunday and on monday,
sore throat, cough, flu and ear infection come look for me. =.=
this ear infection is super irritating!
making me feel super uncomfortable especially
when im outside.
so eversince i have ear infection on monday, 21/12
i didnt went out at all. lols.
[fyi: ear infection is super painful and uncomfortable!]

on the 24/12 (christmas eve)
i got no choice and have to go out cox shan ask me to. haha.
actually is shan invited me to the christmas stomp at expo.
since she keep asking me go
and my ear seems abit abit better so go lor.
over there jiu...
my ear was blocked and making me super uncomfortable
so was very sian and the cough make me more sian.
and so super tired and sick!
but anw, the show was not bad lar=D
after the show went for dinner/supper at geylang.
had tianji porridge.
and reached home at 1.20am. woooo... ...
shan cab-ed me home at chinese garden as
no more bus service and she's dun fangxin about me=D
thanks shan for the ride and the gift and the slipper=D

SGB'09 distribution on 15/12/2009
After a hard work of collection of food packs,
our first distribution of food packs
started on 15 December 2009.
My group distributed the food packs to a Muslim family of three
and we have a chance to talk to them and get to know more.

Just a few years ago,
he is a normal person like us but unfortunately,
after a small stroke,
the doctor discovered that he had Spain problem
and other illnesses comes one after another;
Liver problem, lumenia(spell?), diabetes...
and he is now using a wheelchair.

He had stop working and now,
the only income is from his two sons
who just started working.
One of his friends will actually come over
and help him to tidy up his place and cooked for them.

Not everyone can take it knowing that illness
coming one after another and surgery does not help
whereby he might get paralyzed.
It’s really a painful thing to know.
But with the support of his families and friends,
he had get through this painful experience and led life as normal.

Life is very fragile
you will never know what will happen the next minutes,
we must cherish our loves ones
and what we have now,
not taking it for granted.

SGB Collection Day @ Clementi area on 28/11/2009
On the day of collection, didn’t have a high expectation
on the amount of food packs that we are going to collect.
We (people from sector B) started
our collection at around 10.15am
the amount of food packs we collected before lunch
was not very happening but we didn’t get dis-hearted.
In fact, when we are waiting for our lunch,
a provision shop uncle donated
10 packets of 5kg rice and a carton of can food.
Was really happy and thankful to the uncle.

After lunch, we continue collection at the other blocks.
I remember there’s one aunty
keep telling me that she forgotten
that there’s food packs collection today
and she keep apologizing about it.
Knowing that she have a heart to help
I am really happy about it.
Although she forgotten about it,
she can still go and buy it later and contact us to get the food packs
so I gave her the flyers that we have prepared
that have the contact number of some of us.

Other than that, there’s one aunty donated a food packs
with other individual items and 10 packets of 5kg rice.
Really appreciate the aunty for donating so many items.

In addition, I remember Kenny told us
about a grandmother with her grandson.
The grandmother walk over feeling apologetic for
not being able to contribute food packs
because she doesn’t have the ability to give one.
When I heard that, I was really touched!
Sometimes, I really do not understand why
when those who have the ability to contribute
but they do not want to and on the other hand,
those that wish to does not have the ability to do so.

But still, it’s not the amount of things contributed that matters
it is the heart that counts.
Even though one does not have the ability to help,
but if you have the heart, it’s already enough=D

Helping out in the collection day is a
GREAT and MEANINGFUL experience.
When somebody donated a food pack
or even just a small item,
you will feel a sense of happiness and
a smile will just be put on your face unknowingly.

had quite a number of celebration.
on sunday, 22/11/09
celebrated with families at aunty house.
she cooked for us=D
had curry fish head=D super nice!
next celebration was on wed 25/11/09
which is my birthday=D hahaha
after school went lunch with sy and yx to JP.
had deng tai feng. treat from sy=D thanks=D
then went home after lunch and do my report
while waiting for sharon and the rest to be done.
met them 7 at jw for zhe cha(?)
and one couple was late for 1 hour. lols. hhaha.
chit chatted and stuff=D
out with them was always a fun thing=D

on the 27/11/09, friday
celebrated with cluster C!
not much ppl came but still having fun=D
went over to kk house there.
he booked a room and we played some board games.
after that went to his house
and i loves his house a lot lar!!!
anw, blow cake with shan and sebby.
at night went over to kenny house for steamboat
with OSLT09 trippers=D
missed the fun that we had at srilanka. =D
celebrated my dear, clare birthday which is on 28/11/09
this is all for my birthday celebration.
