finally im here to blog about OSLT (overseas service learning trip)
and our destination is to Sri Lanka, Thirukkovial, Ampara District.
we will be going there to:
1) build playground
2) teach english
3) culture exchange (telematch)
So, the journey starts on day 1: 21st sept 2009
the flight is 930pm at terminal1.
daddy fetch me to the airport. when everyone was there,
daddy and mei mei went off.
mummy wasnt here to sent me off as she's working
so was kinda sad about it and i actually cried on the car. lols.
anw, crayons came to sent us off too.
missed crayons a lot=D HUGGIES
went in the gate at 845pm
when we have settle down at the plane, our journey to srilanka is about the begin
AND
here comes a problem... ...
there's some technical problem with the plane and its
unable to take off so all the passengers have to alight and wait.
the flight was delay for about half an hour.and we reached colombo at spore time, 3am
which is 1230am colombo time.

when reached colombo international airport,
went to the money changer with kenny and this is when
i saw how rupess(spell?) looks like. lols.
their money was really really old and cramper(spell?)
estimated exchange rate: S$1 = Rupes$78
there's some people waited for us at the airport and
we board the mini bus to the motel.
mini bus with air-con. there's 16 trippers in this mini bus and this is the bus
we will be taking for our long hour journey to Thirukkovial.
on the way to Goldi Sands Hotel,
was looking at the street
it really gives me the feel of malaysia XD
share room with maggie and yunting. room no.4 XD
after checking in,
went to one of the guys room for briefing.
