just saw an e-mail.
was really touching that i cried!
these people are really HERO!
they are the true HERO!
it's about 5.12 earthquake.
which kills thousands and thousands of people.
-THE BOY WHO LIVED-
12th of May in WenChuan:-the worst-hit area in China,
the soldiers and rescue teams dicovered something
inside the ruins...
From the gap of the ruins,
a terrifying awkward shap could be seen...
It was a woman. A DEAD woman...
AND
something was under her...
A dead mother protecting her baby.
She was cold and stiff, kneeling, hands on the ground.
She looked like a divine worshipper of ancient age...
The baby was totally unharmed,
sleeping in heavenly peace.
Inside the bay's blanket, the soldiers
found a moblie-phone with a message on the screen.
"My dear and sweet child, if you can survive,
always remember that... I LOVE YOU!"
The baby lost his mother...
BUT he will live his whole life knowing that he possesses
the GREATEST LOVE in the whole world!

12th of May, a few hours before the earthquake,
a policeman LiGuolin was having a meeting with his men
when a dog ran into their office...
The dog barked and tried to drag Li Guolin
out of the room.
Apparently, the dog saved him ad seven other policemen.
(the office collasped)
Li Guolin jumped on a bike and raced
like hell to the local middle-school where his son
Li Wangziguo was studying...
Several school buildings totally collasped, all he could
hear was the crying of hundreds of injured students...
His son's building had 5 floors, but now onlt
three could be barely recongnised...
"LI WANGZIGUO! WHERE ARE YOU!?"
Very soon, he recognize a familiar voice from a sea
of chaotic cries...
"PAPA! I am here! Save me!"
BUT
the boy was buried rather deep, Li could not reach him...
Li turned around and found more than one desperate
plea for help...
As the first policeman who arrived, Li Guolin
earned the trust of the people.
His words became law...
He gave order to the people...
"We will start with the students who are easier
to dig out! Then go on to the ones who are buried deep!"
"I want as many children to survive as possible
in the shortest time!"
Li turned back for his son and told him.
"Son! you must be brave! PAPA has duty to save
other children too! Just wait a little longer!
I will be back very soon! I PROMISE!"

Li Guolin spent the whole day saving other students.
13th of May, 5am,
the rescuers started the operation to save his son.
14th of May, 3am,
Li Wangziguo was dead before they pulled him out.
Policeman Li Guolin saved more than 30 students,
they all lived.

Teacher Tan Qian Qiu and four students are trapped
inside the collapsed building...
When the earthquake happened, Tan pushed his students
under the desk and used his own body
as a shelther to protect them...
The fallen concrete boards formed a lucky triangle
so that Tan could bearly stay
conscious and comfort the children.
After the major hit at 14.28, smaller aftershocks
came one after another...
Every aftershock brought more things down and increased
the weight on Tan's body...
It was a mighty struggle for him to stay awake...
As Tan spoke, the students felt warm fluids dropping
from above, and his voice was getting weaker.
"Dont worry about me... If you children
can make it, I can make it too!"
Tan was losing blood, he could not stay awake
by himself. The students knocked and shouted until
they could get a response from him...
A storm came, it was getting darker and colder.
The collapsing mountains sounded
like a cannon firing...
Still no one came to help...
the crumbling slowly continued... As if feeling death
slowly approaching...
Tan taught for the last time...
"If anything should happen to me,
you must NEVER give up...
you must survive... REMEMBER this...
This is my LAST LESSON to you..."

The students started crying again BUT this time,
there was no words of comfort or encouragement from
Tan Qian Qiu...
Without moving an inch, Tan's frightening grip of the desk
and his cold dead body formed the perfect
protection for his students from the coming shower
of concretes and bricks...
The four students, they all survived...
